When we go into auto pilot (and we do spend much of our day in this robot like state) we lose touch with ourselves and all the possibilities that are open to us. Opportunities for creativity, learning and growing are not in awareness. If we are not careful those moments can end up becoming most of our lives! Mindfulness is an ancient Buddhist practice which has little to do with Buddhism per se, but everything to do with waking up and living in harmony with oneself and the world.
We examine who we are, our view of the world and our place in it.
Join us for this full day workshop on Mindfulness and Meditation next Saturday June 26th. There will be plenty of meditation and mindfulness practices weaved into the day as well as delving into how the brain/mind works. You will leave with skills and tools to navigate the stresses of everyday life as well as relaxed and at peace after gentle Yin and Restorative Yoga practices and guided meditations using therapeutic grade A essential Oils.
